Children and families are very welcome at the Good Shepherd. Sea Lights is our children’s group, meeting in the church hall most Sundays. Once a month at Sea Lights we have a special Godly Play story session. This is usually the third Sunday of the month. The children join the congregation for Communion.

On the first Sunday of most months, we have an All-Age Communion service.

There are several children's events held by the church including a Christingle and Crib service, Easter garden making, holiday craft sessions and family walks. There is also a children’s corner in the church with toys and books.

The Dock

​In January 2026 we started a new monthly youth club on Sunday afternoons called The Dock, for children aged 11 to 14. See poster below.

Here are the dates for The Dock this year, 2026:

8th February, 8th March, 12th April, 10th May, 14th June, 12th July, 9th August, 13th September, 11th October, 8th November, 13th December. 4pm-5.30pm.
