 Third Sunday of Lent,

7th March 2021

‘Stop making my Father’s house a market-place!’ John 2. 16.

The PCC has made the decision that we will return to in-person worship on Palm Sunday 28th March (as long as Government guidance doesn’t change). This means we’ll be back in church for Holy Week and Easter Sunday.  As before, you will need to book for the 10am service, but this will not be needed for the 8am or Tuesdays at 9.30am. Covid secure guidelines remain in place.  The 10am service will be live streamed for those at home, with a Zoom coffee time to follow.  We also look forward to the return of Sunday school after Easter and Messy Church in May. Good news!

Collect

Eternal God,

give us insight

to discern your will for us,

to give up what harms us,

and to seek the perfection we are promised

in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Readings

Exodus 20.1-17 , Psalm 19, 1 Corinthians 1.18-25,
John 2.13-22

We hope the children are enjoying making their Lent trees or garlands. The first session of Sea Lights will be on Sunday 11th April, in the vicarage garden, if the weather permits. Sea Lights can then return to hall the following Sunday. We are also planning a special family Good Friday in the vicarage garden at 10am – make your own miniature Easter garden, with the story of Good Friday. More information next week.

Choir Rehearsals These are currently taking place on Zoom every Thursday 5.45pm to 6.45pm.
