The church hall has been newly decorated and is looking fresh and smart. Thanks go to the wardens, John Haffenden and Mike Denman for arranging all the works over the summer.

Eco Tip for Creationtide from the CoGs Eco Church team Take your “soft” plastic bags and wrappers to your local supermarket for recycling. Aim for zero plastic in your grey bin.

And finally…

The Sand Dance, organised by the Shoreham Beach Residents Association, was a great success. Hundreds of people attended a wonderful evening of live music alongside the church. The Good Shepherd supported the resurrection of this outdoor community event by offering Pimms and soft drinks, a sandcastle competition and beach labyrinth. Thanks to Angie Tritton, who organised the Pimms, and the volunteers from the church, all of whom dressed up as pirates! It was a joy for the church to  be involved, and we additionally raised £359 for church funds.

I work half-time and the days I am usually available are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday morning. I wish you all a blessed week,   Revd Jane
