Home Groups

There are a variety of Home Groups meeting in people's houses around the Parish. Three meet specifically to study the Bible in depth. Because the groups meet on different weeks, and take breaks for holidays, please refer to the Latest Church News section for dates and times in any given week.

Two Bible Study groups meet at 5 Beach Road on Wednesday mornings and evenings, alternating, so that each group meets fortnightly. Please contact Sally Excell for details.

One Bibls Study group meets at 42 The Meadway on Monday evenings, once a fortnight. Please contact Jenny Marshall for details.

In addition, a Fellowship Group meets at 91 Crown Road for study, prayer and friendship using a variety of materials and on different themes. The group welcomes members bringing their children along to this, and meets on a Thursday morning. Please contact Emma Purser for details.

Details of our Craft and Fellowship Group can be found elsewhere on the website.

During Lent our regular Home Groups cease operation and anything from 5 to 7 Groups form to study whatever material have been chosen for our Lent reflection.

Another Group is 'in the making' at the moment, intending to offer a Study Course for new Christians and for those wishing to refresh their understanding of the basics. This will be led by Canon Tony Thompson using material from Sean International. Details to be confirmed, but a meeting is to be held on Wednesday 21st September in the Church at 7.30pm to explore the possibilities.
